Tomorrow is Halloween!!!!

Studio Update.....and, the best pizza EVER....

....I've been making tons of new stuff....thankfully the wedding-photo business is slowing down for the winter and I've had more time to work in the studio making fun things....here are a few shots from today....

....meanwhile.....Bernadette was upstairs constructing a home made pizza of epic proportions....

Squirrel Nut Zippers

This past Thursday I had the incredible opportunity to photograph one of the most amazing musical acts I’ve ever witnessed….The Squirrel Nut Zippers unleash each song with unparalleled passion and commitment as if every note they play is their last….their music defies classification and has to be experienced to be fully understood and believed….they are one of the rare bands that I almost hesitate to photograph for fear of doing them an artistic injustice….and if their musical genius weren’t enough, they happen to be some of the most friendly and approachable people you will ever meet….if they play a show anywhere near your town, check them out, you will be blown away….

Saturday night....

....we stopped by the Art Whino Gallery for the opening and to ponder some of the amazing artwork....I have a bunch of new pieces up and there are still a few available....
....Bernadette and I were both thoroughly impressed with Brandon Hill's skateboard birdhouses....
....I tried not to look like I was posing out while I posed out with some of my paintings....and Mr. T was persistently lurking in the background....
....we also stopped by Tony's to check out their pizza....

Last Night....

....Bernadette and I had the rare pleasure of hanging out with the Squirrel Nut Zippers....some of the coolest people I've ever met....Bernadette made this quick snapshot of myself with Jimbo and Chris....stay tuned for more photos....

....progress update of some new stuff I'm trying....also, this weekend I'll be showing some new paintings at the Art Whino Gallery,  they have so much good art work there right now, it's definitely going to be a good show, the opening is from 6-10 on Saturday....see you there!
